For Room One Design (on behalf of Nude By Nature) AUSTRALIAWIDE replaced existing Nude By Nature cosmetics display stands with the new 900mm Infill Unit in a national rollout of 222 Priceline stores and pharmacies in 3.5 weeks in October 2015.
The stands were 895mm wide x 1635mm high x 395mm deep and 75kg so they were definitely two person jobs. Part of the job also involved removing the existing display stand from the stores and disposing of them.
We did a pilot installation in Priceline Camberwell in Melbourne and then started the rollout on October 2nd and completed the last one on October 27th. We used a total of 63 two-person crews for 142 metropolitan and 80 regional stores spread from Cairns in Queensland to Albany in Western Australia.
Although another merchandising company was originally engaged to merchandise the stock on the new stands, at the last minute we were requested to perform this service in 97 stores for which we used 14 installers and 24 members of our retail merchandising team.
Apart from a few issues caused by the transporters chosen for the project and over which we had no control, the whole operation went super smoothly and was a credit to all of the company personnel and contractors involved.
